EOTC

Hello people. Last week something, at our school, called EOTC started. It is where you do a bunch of fun things for 1 week. It started on Wednesday and ended on Tuesday. It was super fun.  Here are some of the activities we got to do. The first activity was Orana Park, then Quail Island, followed by Surfing, Clip And Climb and then we did New Brighton Hot pools. Have you ever done one of these activities? 

    

fun run

 hey guys today I am going to be telling you about the fun run so the fun run is a long run. around the end there are a lot of cool stuff like bouncy castles and the teachers were shooting us with some water guns. It felt so nice because it was a hot day and there was a slip and slide that everyone slid down and it hurt when you landed weird. 

Swimming

 Greetings, today I will be talking about swimming. on Wednesday  I went swimming with some of my class mates like Lewis and so on. We had to get in the pool safely and it was so cold and Lewis was scared to get in because it was so cold he got in and was like OMG. Then everyone else started to get in the swimming pool Lewis and I went to the deep end and for some reason it was less cold than the small end.

  

Athletics Practice

 Yesterday at school in the afternoon everyone but the juniors. Had to do some athletics because we need to practice to see who can go to zones I don't think i am going to zones.  I am bad at athletics but still I wanted to have some fun we did high jump shock-put and long distance.

hoilday

 on the hoilday i went to go and see my grandad and grandmum and had  mcdonalds for dinner and i had a double cheese burger with no bun and a drink of coke then i played a lot of rocket league and got a lot of wins.  

swimming

 for the past 2 weeks we have been doing swimming at canterberry swim school and my swimming couches name is sue and bella my friends and i are in the big pools and i go swimming.

Tree Planting

 On Wednesday the 16 of September I went tree planting with the Health Leaders and the Trusted Trekkers. I'm a Health Leader. Some of my friends went to the tree planting as well my friends names are Cody, Lennox, Conner, Leo, Tory, Edward, Khell and thats it. We had to get in a van that was owned by Miss d we drove to the farmers house. We ate morning tea i had a slice of pizza then we went to the farm and started to plant some trees. Then we went to the house again and ate some lunch and Edward broke his arm. Then we went to the Springfield donut.      

100 word count

 Hello boys and girls this week we got a new 100 word count like all weeks. I finished it in a day and it was so easy we had to add a sentence that my teacher gave me the sentence was gradually, things started to move. I had to search up what gradually meant this is my 100 word count hope you like it.

cloze

 a few weeks ago we did a cloze. it was hard and i did all of the cloze have you ever done a cloze.  i just want to know they are really hard. i did not like it that much my friend Lewis helped me with it.

Zones For Football

 On Wednesday I had zones for football and it was really fun I had gotten 0 goals and we vs'ed a lot of different schools we had won one of the games and these are my teammates Brice, Lewis, Sophie, Zahina, Riley, Laiseni, Maddock, James that was all I remembered.

winter sport

on Friday last week we did winter sport for the second time and i got a goal and so did my friend Riley we VS SHS phoenix and we won 2-1 and i played awesomely. i got the ball off of all of there players and then passed to someone because i was crounded by people so i passed and james passed to me and i ran down the whole feld heres a picture.

winter sport starting today

Today all of the year 4/5/6's are going to do winter sport the year 4's are only doing some practise of some sport and the year 5/6's are vsing other school and im doing soccer and i have Riley on my team and i want lewis on my team but he is in the hornby city  and mine is hornby rovers and I've been playing soccer for 4 years and i love soccer it is my favrout sport have you ever played soccer? im really good at soccer.

My Drawings

Today, at morning tea, I did some drawings.  2 were food and drink and 3 from uncle grandpa characters.  I  tried my best.  I have  been doing some drawings for the last 3 weeks or so. This is one of my best work yet. Drawing is one of my new hobbies.

word count part 2

This week we had to do anther 100 word count story, and it had to have this sentence in  it "we took no notice of the sign". I wrote about me and my friend going to the  beach. Hope you like it.


One day I was going to my friends house I picked him up we started to go to the beach I was sad because I saw a sign that said the beach was closed because of tsunamis but we took no notice of the sign and I dove right pass it and we got to the beach then we saw a senmarines we heard the sirens for the Tsunamis. Me and my friend ran to where we parked and the carpark was blocked off and we could not get out and we did not have a happy life after all .

Taskmaster

Every week on Friday we have been doing something called Taskmaster. This week we had to fill a cup of water and run 100 meters. Me and my friend Lewis thought that we get Sponges and a Bucket so we put the Sponges on the bottom and sides and we put he cup in the middle it worked and we came 3rd.

Greetings, fellow humans my name is Oakley and we had to make a animation  The reason we made it was we were practising using shortcut keys. I picked a buddy his name is Marvin  he is very good at art and our animation  was about super heroes. he made 4 super heroes. i made 1. my one was hulk. all of his were Captain America,   Ironman,  Spiderman and War Machine. i hope you like it.

the one the only Elgregoe

Last week Elgregoe came to Hornby Primary School. Elgregoe is very talented at magic everyone at Hornby Primary School loves Elgregoe. he said 2020 was going to be best the year that elgregoe came to our school. I think 2017 was the best year because he did the cutting magic trick.

the awesome 100 word recount

Greetings, fellow humans, my name is Oakley. On February the 12th we started a 100 word count story.  We had to use this sentence in our 100 word count story, ...as it flew towards us i couldn’t see what is was... it was kind of hard. A hard bit was trying to get the sentence to some were where it made sense.

One day I woke up and looked outside and there was a random thing.  As it flew towards us I couldn’t see what is was,  but it got really close and then I realized it was a meteor.  My sister got super scared.  I ran outside to go to my friend’s house, he was on the other side of town. So I didn't run all the way, I grabbed my dad's old bike. When I got to his house we said, “Let's play Fortnite.”  We got 7B wins and then I went to town and got a bike and I liked it a lot.
